Who I am

My name's Hannah and I work in media training and communications 👉nextstepinfluence.com

Before that, I was a television journalist, as a producer in London, Paris and the Middle East for broadcasters such as Radio France International, France 24 and ITV.

It was fun! I got to interview interesting people, learn about different communication styles and discover what worked and what didn't.

One thing I found fascinating was how politicians communicated.

While they were excellent at soundbites - brilliant at knowing how to speak and when - much of the time they came across as over-rehearsed and glib.

Interviewees from other industries could be less formally trained - yet their message could resonate better.

Luckily, it's possible to know what you're talking about and come across with integrity. There’s a method to persuasion that is undeniable and enduring.

My newsletter gives you digestible lessons on persuasive rhetoric in your inbox each Tuesday inspired by the ancient and the modern - plus further monthly analysis.

The goal is to give you the power to communicate your message with fluidity and style - and, to prepare you for a future where how you inspire and lead others will become more vital than ever.

Enjoy,

Hannah
